Once again Patricio Tapia, renowned wine critic who publishes every year his guide Descorchados, tasted Argentine wines and Bodega Renacer stood out with its wines above 90 points. This year he met in person with the winery's winemaking team, Fernando Sota and Gustavo Egea.
Renacer Cabernet Franc 2020, made from grapes sourced from our Perdriel estate and from El Cepillo in Valle de Uco, was awarded 94 points by the critic and was also distinguished as one of the best Cabernet Franc in the guide. On the other hand, Renacer Malbec from the same vintage obtained a valuable 93 points, a wine made with grapes from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley.
Renacer Dark Matter, soon to be released in 2024, obtained 92 points; it is a blend from our estate that includes Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. It was also ranked as one of the best wines from Perdriel.
The limited edition Renacer Bequignol 2023, belonging to the Rosé Series line, of only 7900 bottles, received 90 points.
Punto Final Reserva Cabernet Franc 2021 was awarded 91 points and continues to add awards to its showcase this year, and Punto Final Reserva Malbec received 90 points.
