Renacer Announces its Recent Inclusion in the Controlled Denomination of Origin (DOC) of Luján de Cuyo. This designation is a recognition of the quality, prestige, and typicity of the wines produced by the member wineries, reflecting the richness and elevating this globally renowned wine region.
In October, the annual D.O.C Luján event took place at Bodega Lagarde, with the theme for this year being "Origin Makes the Difference." The gathering included a tasting and a technical seminar where wineries presented their new 2023 harvests. Experts highlighted that these wines, yet to be launched on the market, showcase great expressiveness, fruity notes, are harmonious, and particularly elegant and balanced.
Winemakers, representatives from member wineries, journalists, sommeliers, and wine communicators from both Mendoza and Buenos Aires attended this event.
A Controlled Denomination of Origin (D.O.C.) is the name that identifies products originating from a region, whose particular qualities are attributed to the geographical environment, encompassing both natural factors and human elements involved in their production. D.O.C. Luján de Cuyo was the first in America and comprises 13 wineries.
Fernando Sota, Enology Manager: "This inclusion in the D.O.C Luján de Cuyo is an achievement that reflects the constant dedication of the entire Renacer team to quality and authenticity. We take pride in being part of this distinguished winemaking community, marking a new chapter in the history of the winery."
