The prestigious British wine competition "International Wine Challenge", published the results of its annual tasting where our Cabernet Franc Reserva stood out with 90 points.
Our wine Punto Final Reserva Cabernet Franc vintage 2020, with grapes from Paraje Altamira, Gualtallary and our estate in Perdriel, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, obtained 90 points and a silver medal. The judges described it as: "It is a young, vibrant wine with juicy fruit, firm texture and a fresh, elegant finish".
IWC, recognised as one of the most rigorous, impartial and influential wine competitions in the world, each wine is tasted blind by two judging panels, and then two co-chairs to ratify their scores. The judging teams are made up of expert influencers from the world's wine industry, buyers and MW who work together to find the highest quality wines each year from the 52 wine-producing countries that participate in the competition.
Patricio Reich, CEO of Renacer concludes that: "getting good scores in IWC makes us very competitive in that market and this gives us the opportunity to open new doors".
